What on earth is an Egg Workshop?

This workshop will include everything you need to know about raising chickens and harvesting eggs for your family! It’s a Homestead heaven where you will learn:

1. Different types of chickens

2. What will work best for your backyard chicken coup

3. Materials you need to build the coup

4. Chicken care and health 

5. Creating your own feed for different types of eggs

6. How to harvest and keep the chickens warm in winter months

7. Egg Myths busted and cool facts shared about the Chicken and the Egg … which came first? 

Of course with many of our events, we will share some social nutrition. On the menu:

• Deviled Eggs

• Spinach Quiche

• Sugar Cookies (low carb/keto available as well)

If you’ve ever had an interest in raising your own chickens for eggs, you need to be at this event! This will be a hands on, everything you need to know with in depth knowledge and support from our beautiful Farm Lady Ashley & her partner Ethan, owners of Mintale Farm.
