BATTLE OF CHILI, BBQ, BEER, and BANDS!

Old Colorado City will again bring in some of the world's best BBQ, Chili, Colorado craft beers and "kick-back and smile" entertainment... as we say, "Old Colorado City Style!"

Chili and BBQ competitors will come to show-off their best recipes for the honor of being named "Best BBQ" or "Best Chili" in Colorado Springs in the "Peoples Choice" awards. Many of the eateries in Old Colorado City will bring their own unique recipes to the "street" to show off a little. There will be ongoing "how to food demo's" from Colorado Springs' barbeque experts, Barbeque Mercantile.

You're going to need a cold, frosty one to help wash down all that "hot" Chili and BBQ, so, this year we're adding a Craft Beer Competition as well. Several of the restaurents and food outlets will host some of Coilorado's finest Craft beer producers - here's your chance to sample them all and vote for your favorite.

What would a day of BBQ, Chili and great beer be without some great music. We'll also have some great bands and musicians at bothends of the venue. You'll be able to vote for your favorite!!!

Come and spend the day in Historic Old Colorado City, kick back and enjoy some great food, beer, and music. With over 120 specialty shops, galleries, restaurants and more "passing the time" is fun in Old Colorado City.
