First Friday Art Walks started in April and we don't want you to miss out on the spectacular art on the First Friday's for any reason! Old Colorado City has partnered with Peak Radar, Downtown and Manitou Springs to host our community's next Virtual First Friday on May 1st from 5pm to 8pm. We are proud to showcase local artists and gallery owners who are excited to give you a "virtual tour" of their current shows and exhibitions!
45 Degree Gallery’s Virtual First Friday is featuring etched copper jewelry by Mariah Cunningham and acrylic colorful animal portraits by Tracy Miller.
Hunter-Wolff Gallery offers fine art by 40 professional artists. Kathy Beekman, pastel artist, is their current showcase. Kathy is a fine artist, specializing in a style that includes mountains and vast landscapes inspired from where she lives in Colorado and the places she visits. This style has a simplified graphic quality with a quiet reflective mood characteristic of all of Beekman’s paintings.
Chavez Gallery show theme this month is “The Birds and The Bees.” They have created surreal oil paintings, watercolors and drawings to theme and have prints available of all new work.
Squash Blossom’s featured artists for April are local artist Chris Hureau and Joyla jewelry. Squash Blossom has maintained its reputation for quality, authentic Native American jewelry; and has expanded to include an eclectic curated collection of fine art, designer jewelry, bronze sculpture and home accessories. From traditional to contemporary, Squash Blossom in Old Colorado City has something for everyone.
For 40 years Arati Artists Gallery has represented the finest artists in the Pikes Peak Region, featuring a unique collection of one-of-a-kind original art. We are featuring our entire gallery of 21 local, award winning, artists for the April Artwalk. Gift Cards can be purchased by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
