Covid-19 & The Health of our Community

Old Colorado City is home to over 120 locally-owned shops, restaurants, and businesses. Our businesses have been hard hit by COVID-19, just like you. But they have also found some creative and special ways to support the community, and provide needed goods and services.

We are an open-air shopping and dining district that takes conscientious measures to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all our guests.

Some of our merchants remain open, and we will continue to provide a positive, safe and welcoming experience.

Please check the individual business listings for any updates concerning their business hours, closures or how businesses are finding other ways to continue to serve you.

The COVID-19 public health crisis poses incredibly difficult financial challenges to small businesses, services, and restaurants – over 90 percent of which are locally owned and operated. Even just a few days or weeks of diminished patronage can be devastating.

Many of our shops have gift cards available. Purchasing a gift card is like giving a small business a loan and a promise of future business when they can reopen on the avenue. In addition, many businesses are offering their services by appointment, online, or even delivering their products to you.

We encourage everyone to continue to follow the guidelines of public health officials at the local, state and national level.

Shop. Dine. Deliver. Support.
