  • Tiny Pockets

    Monday 10:30

Tiny Pockets came to life in the summer of 2023, when guitarist and bassist Ken gathered some friends for what was meant to be a one-time gig. That single show quickly turned into a full-fledged band, and from that moment on, they’ve been playing everywhere they can across Colorado, bringing their infectious energy and diverse sound to audiences far and wide. While based in Colorado Springs, they’ve hit stages in Denver, Manitou, Pueblo, Woodland Park, Castle Rock, and Durango, proving their dedication to sharing music wherever the road takes them.

Tiny Pockets is known for its wide range of styles and ability to get crowds up and dancing. Their setlist spans Whitney Houston, Taylor Swift, AC/DC, Tim McGraw, The Cranberries, Shaggy, and many more, ensuring there’s a "pocket" of music for everyone to sing along to. The band name reflects this mission—while also being the one thing they could all agree on.

Each member of Tiny Pockets brings their own personality and passion to the group. Ken, originally from the Bronx, works full-time as a music teacher in Denver and is known for his habit of shedding his shirt mid-performance. Arissa, a New Jersey native, plays keyboard, ukulele, and saxophone and teaches music at Colorado Music Institute alongside Ken—her gravity-defying hair is just as wild as her musicianship. Matt, the band's drummer and videographer, hails from Boston and works in marketing. He’s famously worn bright colors only three times in his life—one of those times being for the band. Jeannie, the powerhouse vocalist and tambourinist, is the only Colorado native in the group. She works in professional theater, primarily as a lighting director at the Pikes Peak Center, and her laughter is so loud it cuts through noise-canceling headphones.

All four members have been lifelong musicians, playing in bands before and growing up immersed in music—but Tiny Pockets is something different, something special. Their chemistry, passion, and sheer joy of playing together make every performance unforgettable. They hope to continue traveling across Colorado and beyond, sharing their love of music with new audiences. Their gratitude extends to their family, their partners, and, of course, their beloved dogs—because every great band needs a solid fan base.
