The Shark Is Broken is a comedy play set during the filming of Steven Spielberg’s “Jaws” in 1974. It focuses on the lead actors, Robert Shaw, Roy Scheider, and Richard Dreyfuss, as they are stuck on a fishing boat waiting for the mechanical shark “Bruce” to be fixed. The play explores their interactions, including arguments, drinking, and games, as they deal with the delays and the confines of the boat.
